This year’s ride will take place October 19-21, 2018. Read below for more information about registration. We will confirm your spot in the ride after July 20th. Once you are offered a spot, you will be asked to pay the registration fee to confirm your participation. Registration costs a sliding scale of $60-$120 with a scholarship option. Please keep in mind that this is a Fundraiser! Riders will be asked to raise $300. Registration fees cover the cost of the ride, and all proceeds raised are donated to support the Cornerstone Bus Project. If you only feel comfortable doing the ride with a friend/family member, you have the option to register as a pair and you both will be entered into registration as one unit. Please either register as one person or as a pair, not both. More questions? Check out our FAQ.

PRIORITY REGISTRATION FOR PEOPLE OF COLOR AND DIRECTLY-IMPACTED PEOPLE: JULY 1-7
We acknowledge that mass incarceration is one of many systems of oppression that disproportionately affects People of Color. This year we are offering priority registration to People of Color, in hopes of building a space that chips away at these barriers.
We understand that mass incarceration affects many of us, and in a variety of ways. Nola to Angola will continue to provide priority registration to people directly impacted by incarceration. We define “directly impacted” as: you, or a family member/loved one, has been incarcerated for months or years.
GENERAL REGISTRATION: JULY 8-20
Due to overwhelming interest in Nola to Angola, we have decided to implement a lottery registration process this year, which we believe will make participation in the ride more accessible and fair for everyone.
We are excited to be able to offer scholarships to a limited number of riders. Scholarships will include: waiving registration fees and fundraising requirements, providing a tent & camping gear, providing a bicycle, and giving riders a small stipend to make up for lost work time.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 504-233-8677 ASAP if you would like to be considered for a scholarship.
Nola to Angola recognizes that a long-distance bike ride will never be accessible to all people of all abilities. We will make every effort to provide reasonable accommodations within the limits of our resources.
