Nola to Angola

Nola to Angola is an annual three-day, 170-mile bicycle ride fundraiser. We ride from Orleans Parish Prison in New Orleans to Angola, the Louisiana State Penitentiary. Each rider raises money by soliciting sponsorships from family and friends, hosting events,  donating proceeds from work, and more. The funds raised support the Cornerstone Builders Bus Project, which sends free monthly transportation for families to visit their incarcerated loved ones. Nola to Angola supports first-time riders and builds connections between riders and organizations working against mass incarceration. The ride is volunteer-run and fully supported, thanks to food, camping equipment, and bicycle gear generously donated each year. Your sponsorship or in-kind donation will help families stay connected!
